Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs) California is one of the most prestigious golf, tennis and country clubs in the United States built as a “Show Case Golf, Tennis and Country Club” by the Colgate Palmolive Company in 1970 with three golf courses recognized as world class. It is the site each year of the internationally televised Nabisco Dinah Shore Classic as well as other major national golf tournaments. Tennis events at Mission Hills feature the Colgate Series Championships, Association of Tennis Professional Games and have included the Davis cup Finals. Amenities include three private championship golf courses, a driving range, a 65,000 square foot golf clubhouse, and a 10,000 square foot tennis clubhouse with 24 private tennis courts. In addition, the community contains the Westin Mission Hills Resort Hotel a 4 star hotel, which has two additional golf courses that are open to the public (for a total of 5 public and private golf courses within the Mission Hills community).
Legacy at Mission Hills is 126.5 acres of residentially zoned and entitled land that surrounds the Dinah Shore Golf Course (one of the three courses of the Country Club) within the Country Club.
Originally zoned for 526 single family attached and detached units, we down-zoned the property to 327 quarter acre lots, All with golf course frontage to create the premier country club environment in Rancho Mirage.
The builder, Rancho Capistrano Development, is building homes from 2,000 to over 3,000 square feet at prices from $320,000 to over $600,000.
The Mission Hills Country Club has 1,180 occupied homes ranging in price from $200,000 to over $6,000,000, and are generally the second or third homes of the residents.
